For my project I'm creating a realistic cyborg.

Time line

Week 1: Research realistic models
Week 2: More research and start polishing my model
Week 3: Finish polishing my model
Week 4: Give the character clothes
Week 5:  Design her capsule
Week 6:  Finish base mesh and create UVs and take it into Zbrush.  Start Adding detail and textures.
Week 7: Continue on the texture and details
Week 8: Finish and export textures and bring it back into Maya. Then add lighting.
Week 9: Rig it and pose the character.
Week 10: Render the model and edit images. 

My progress form week 1-5. I'm having trouble designing her capsule. 
I plan to get the base mesh completed by the weekend and get it ready for Zbush by next friday.

Possible Challenges

  • Designing an interesting capsule
  • Giving it plenty of detail in Zbursh
  • Rigging the model correctly

I finally got the model done
 Finished Model

What you will inside the capsule when I add a glass textures to the cylinder.
I'm currently working on the UVs so I'm a week behind. Once I get the UVs done I'll be ready to texture which shouldn't take me to long to get them done.

I'm still 2 weeks behind but this week I finished my UVs

 
Body
Top and Bra

For the rest of the model I'm using procedurals to get the texture just to save time. For the body and the clothes I'm texturing in Zbrush to make it as realistic as possible. Right now I'm adding detail to the body to it look more human like. 

When I finish sculpting I'm add the textures.  If I get my goals for the week completed the model should be ready to rig next week.

This week I messed around with the shaders and worked on the human sculpt. I created a glass material and tried to make it look like it was filled with goo but I'm have some problems.




I started detail the human mesh. Once I get the detail I'm texturing it.

This week I worked on the fixing the problem I had last week with the capsule, which I figured out and made it look good. I decided to jump around my timeline and added the light.

I plan to have a verity of shaders for the objects inside the capsule. 

One of the other things I did this week is to finish up adding details to my zbrush sculpt. I painted in the base colors before I paint the realistic textures.

This week I got all the textures done and I got a good result.

This is what I have up to this point in Maya.
I have to mess around with the shaders and fix the skin. I should get this done by the morning for before class starts.
